Excellence In Giving Welcomes New Board Member, Lawrence Ho

Excellence in Giving is excited to announce the addition of our newest board member, Lawrence Ho. Lawrence is a Chinese-Canadian attorney based in Vancouver. He has served on numerous boards, including the Chan Better World Foundation, the Abba Foundation, the Canadian National Christian Foundation and the Stewardship Foundation. He also has extensive experience in NGO and government relations work in both China and North Korea. We are very excited to have him join our team.

Excellence in Giving Welcomes Matt Aspegren to the Research Team

Excellence in Giving is pleased to announce that Matt Aspegren has joined the company as Evaluation Officer. 

In this role, he evaluates the health and performance of charities to inform effective grantmaking strategies for Excellence in Giving clients. He conducts all Nonprofit Levels of Due Diligence to issue data-backed donor advice. His work gives our clients confidence they are supporting high-impact organizations making the difference they want to fund. 

Mr. Aspegren has served as nonprofit founder, chief executive, board member, consultant, and evaluator. He brings analytical horsepower and strategic insight to his passionate pursuit of effective philanthropy.
