Doreen White
Advisory Research Associate
Doreen joined Excellence in Giving’s Advisory Research team with over a decade of expertise in strategic sourcing, international operations, nonprofit project management and hands-on field experience while leading cross-cultural teams. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management. Prior to her role at Excellence in Giving, Doreen worked for multiple nonprofit organizations including notable names like, Samaritan’s Purse, Invisible Children, DED (German Development Services) and International Lifeline Fund.
Born and raised in Uganda, Doreen lives in San Diego, California with her husband Jared and daughter, Mikella. Beyond her professional endeavors, Doreen is an integral part of her community, serving on the Board of Directors for Capable, a Uganda-based nonprofit organization committed to eradicate extreme poverty in Northern Uganda’s rural communities. Doreen also extends her influence as a volunteer leader at New City Church San Diego’s children ministry and connect team, nurturing the growth and development of those around her.
Doreen is motivated by her faith in Jesus Christ, and she is passionate about spending quality time with her family and friends, connecting with her neighbors and gardening.
