The Excellence in Giving Research team measures outcomes so high-capacity donors can know if they are supporting high-performing charities. In 1-2 years, carefully designed survey instruments produce Impact Reports about the extent of transformation compared to a baseline or benchmark. Our factor analysis of the data then produces program Improvement Reports so charities know how to make adjustments that accelerate positive outcomes.
Excellence in Giving has set up outcomes measurement processes for global and domestic organizations since 2010, including Haggai International, Willow Creek’s Global Leadership Summit, David C Cook’s Global Mission, Elevate USA and Langham Partnership. Each nonprofit uses the results to (1) improve programs, (2) motivate staff, (3) recruit the right program participants, and (4) report impact to donors. Who doesn't want to know their impact and how they can improve?
Our deliverables include tools for ongoing measurement of outcomes for years to come
