Excellence in Giving Welcomes New Relationship Manager

Excellence in Giving, LLC (www.excellenceingiving.com), a philanthropic advisory firm, is opening a branch office, offering a comprehensive line of services to individuals and companies interested in maximizing the impact of their charitable giving locally, nationally and internationally. The new regional office opened in January 2017, in Denver, Colorado. Excellence in Giving serves clients from coast to coast from its offices in Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, California and Boston. The Denver office will be headed by Craig Saeman.

Craig has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Regis University and has lived in Denver most of his life. He started his business career in Los Angeles and New York City where he managed a multi-billion-dollar fixed income portfolio. After returning to Denver, Craig was active in private equity. More recently, Craig was responsible for launching and managing a hedge fund, fundraising for numerous deals, and investments in private equity. Craig has an extensive background in both the business and charitable sector and is well connected in the Denver community.

Our Director of Research Presents Evaluation Methods at YALE

YALE University is hosting a one-of-a-kind conference on "What Works?" in faith-based development efforts. Renowned social impact evaluator, Dean Karlan, will present new results from his evaluation of a faith-based economic development organization, International Care Ministries. After Karlan explains his ground-breaking case for the positive impact of faith in poverty reduction, Excellence in Giving's Director of Research, Paul Penley, will reveal his new results from evaluating the nation's only faith-based Boys & Girls Club. Stronger faith can be linked to great academic and character growth. Leading evaluators, funders, and NGO leaders with an interest in spiritual metrics are all coming together for lively discussions and panels on September 20-21, 2016.
