Philanthropic Client Advisor; Colorado and the Western Region
Mrs. Blackburn is passionate about equipping families with the practical tools to meaningfully and impactfully contribute to their giving goals. Her experience growing up in the Middle East and Europe helped frame her philanthropic perspective and inspires her focus on collaborative multigenerational giving. Laura loves to engage on this topic personally, through articles, podcasts and speaking engagements.
Laura received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Westmont College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Her more than a decade of success in executive sales and development created a strong foundation for her more recent international consulting assignments in the nonprofit world as well as her personal philanthropic work and board positions.
Laura enjoys being Mom to her two college students and having more time with John, her husband of over 20 years. She loves to ski, walk the golf course, read, write and practice her Arabic. She lives with her family in Colorado Springs.
